Billula Expense Tracker

We built Billula with privacy in mind. Here’s the short version: your data stays on your device, and we don’t collect anything from you.

What Data Does Billula Store?

Billula stores the following information locally on your device:

Expense records (amounts, dates, categories, descriptions)
Categories and subcategories you create
Receipt photos you attach to expenses
App settings and preferences
Backup files you create

All of this data is stored ONLY on your device. We never see it, we never collect it, and we never share it.

What Data Do We Collect?

None. Zero. Nada.

No account registration required
No personal information collected
No usage analytics or tracking
No advertising or ad networks
No data sent to our servers (we don’t even have servers)
Camera is used for receipt scanning only

Third-Party Services

Billula does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Biometric Authentication

If you enable Face ID or fingerprint protection, this authentication is handled entirely by your device’s operating system. Billula never accesses, stores, or transmits your biometric data.

Camera and Photo Access

Billula may request access to your camera and photo library to let you attach receipt photos to expenses. These photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared. Camera is used for receipt scanning only.

Data Backup and Export

When you create a backup or export your data, the file is created on your device. You control where that file goes – we have no access to it.

Children’s Privacy

Billula is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we’ll post the new version here with an updated date.
