PassTrue ("the App") is a password manager application developed by Fitz Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how PassTrue handles your information.

            PassTrue does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers. Your privacy is absolute.
        

Data Storage

Local Storage Only

All your vault data (passwords, secure notes, credit cards, identities) is stored exclusively on your device
Your master password is never stored - only a secure hash is kept for verification
All sensitive data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption with Argon2id key derivation
No data is ever uploaded to cloud servers or external services

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect personal information
We do not collect usage analytics
We do not collect crash reports
We do not track your location
We do not access your contacts
We do not use advertising identifiers
We do not share any data with third parties

Security

Encryption

Your vault is protected with AES-256 encryption
Master password is processed using Argon2id, a memory-hard key derivation function
Biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) adds an additional layer of security
All encryption and decryption happens locally on your device

Device Authentication

PassTrue uses your device's built-in security (Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode) to protect access
Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's secure enclave - PassTrue never accesses raw biometric data

Data Export

You may export your vault data at any time using the in-app export feature
Exports are encrypted with a password of your choosing
Exported files remain under your control and responsibility

Children's Privacy

PassTrue does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App is intended for general audiences who need to securely store sensitive information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
